Kobayashi Fléaux!

I was scouring the net since I can’t sleep, and I keep nocturnal hours. Something caught my eye on Kickstarter, something that is spelled Fléaux! but pronounced Flay-O. With the tagline ‘Tonight we bleed but tomorrow we’ll be rich!” – It’s down to about 3 hours on Kickstarter and we love (especially me) to call on Kickstarters that have done well beyond their original goal, but also to show Kickstarter RPGs that catch our eye. Kobayashi’s Flay-O did just that!

Magicians Menagerie hits Kickstarter

We love Kickstarters here at Exiled News, in fact, we adore any third party funded projects in RPG a lot. Me, I am a big fan of magic, hence my latest build on Elden Ring playing with sorcery! Talking of magic though, this is a new project that could do with your help and a boost. There’s 14 days to go and the creators are looking for £4,287 to bring it to life. They have just raised (so far) £1,611 of the goal and really could do with a boost to that amount.

Judge Dredd & the Worlds of 2000 AD Sale!

This is it, the final week, before En Publishing closes the doors and shutters production on Judge Dredd & the Worlds of 2000 AD. Whilst we don’t know all the details regarding this, it’s a shame that one of the coolest systems for a while (What’s Old is New (WOIN) that powered another incarnation of the Dredd RPG (previous Mongoose) is probably going to be replaced by another system developed in-house by Rebellion (this is speculation, but we’re guessing that WOIN won’t license their system to the IP holder) – we’ll have to wait and see on this though.

Spotlight: Jonny Hodgson Illustrator

You can’t go more than a few books in the RPG industry without finding some amazing art, it’s true, these days many of the books have production values that various companies can only aspire to. I remember being blown away by the art in Cubicle 7’s previous edition of The One Ring RPG and this turned my attention to the work of Jonny Hodgson.

Son of Oak announce :Otherworld, sequel to City of Mist!

Son of Oak is coming back to City of Mist, or rather they’re bringing a streamlined version of the City of Mist system to the RPG space in the form of COM: Reloaded as the driving force behind their brand-new setting.

Spotlight on Ethan. H. Reynolds

As you know, by now. Exiled News doesn’t follow a strict plan, in fact, we have a bunch of contributors who fly by now and then. There are a few of us who work away at various posts to provide a snippet of news and an insight to creators large and small across the tabletop roleplaying game scene, boardgames, as well as video games.

So let me cut to the core and talk about Ethan. H. Reynolds for a little bit.
